Wow I never Write in this thing

 I find myself constantly looking at peoples when I have the chance but the last time I wrote on this thing was a full three months ago.  Ask me why I dont know.  Yes technically right now I should be working and doing something very important actually that is this Sunday but I felt a need to write in this for some odd shaped reason.

I only write in this when I have some good news or bad news or some deep thought well I dont really have either one of the first two so lets see.

This is a deep thought to me and to everyone else who reads this silly thing anymore.  It is very true to my life now and always has been really.  This is the question I ponder today?  Why do so many people feel to be happy they have to be so busy?

I have always wondered this and it is very true for myself my wife can answer this or Drew or practically anyone who knows me.  I have always been the type of guy if something isnt going on then I dont know what to do.  I feel compeled to keep myself busy.  During HS and College it was horrible I did everything and was involved in everything was on officer in so many things.  Now I look back upon it and wish I wasn't I wish i would have given one or two things my all and not 10 things divided up evenly.  I never gave anything 100% not even close I mean I tried I really did but it was divided up like a pizza and not one large one.  I say this because I look upon others and myself who struggle with the same thing I do.  They feel the need to be happy and to do that they feel like they need something else to do.  When I quit one thing I added another never completely ever being happy with myself.  Just adding clutter is all I did.  Why did I do this?  It was feeling a need I had of mine a need to be accepted.  I felt like if I did everything that everyone wanted me to do I would be happy I would be accepted.  Which I was for the time being but not in the long run.  Instead of being happy I was stressed (stressed that is for me) and was having anxiety about so much stuff.  So I am now rambling now.

This is my advice to anyone who is listening at LCU or anywhere else.  It is ok to stop slow down and take in the wonder of God.  You don't have to be involved in everything it is ok to say no once in a while in fact it is healthy.  So the next time you say yes to something else to do think of what you are saying no to.  Is it your friends, is it that special someone, God, or another group you are already involved.  I hope you take this to heart and for once say no sometimes it can feel like you are letting someone down but you are saving yourself in the long run.  Run the marathon not the sprint.

Hey everyone wow I am actually going to post.  Just as an update though to everyone.  So I am way excited though.  I actually do have a job now.  Only bad thing is that it is in New Mexico God's Wasteland jk.  Yes the only thing that I am moving this week and start next sunday crazy huh.  Well one good thing is that everyone who reads my xanga that wants to come to clovis can stay in my house.  It is humongus ok so I am sure there are larger house but this is huge to me and most other people.  It is a 5 bedroom 3 bath house so how exciting is that.  Well there is so much time to do stuff and so little to do.  Oh wait the other way around so little time and so much to do.  So have a good day and week and God bless.  PS if you actually read this you should post a coment.

Job Search

So I have no clue what to do with my life.  Here is my story in very short detail.  Probably lost most of you by this point but be praying for me. 

So anyways two years ago I thought I found what I liked and that was to go into youth ministry.  All I could think this is where God is calling me to.  Now two years down the road I am begining to doubt that I have taken a side path and gotten some sort of short joy out of it and I am being told to give up and go back to the other road where it is much easier.  I really enjoy youth ministry even though I dont have as much training in it as I wish to I do wish to learn.  However every job I have applied for I get turned down either going to the actual place or before they even meet me.  I dont get it I mean i do to a sense take for example that I applied at this one church in AZ they seemed really interested in me they called all my refrences and all my refrences gave good reports saying they were really excited about me and then decide to turn me down.  Sometimes I just dont get life.  I really dont know if I am supposed to teach or do youth ministry or what.  In 2 months I am jobless and dont have a place to stay and still have no clue what to do about it.  I just want a job right now and it won't happen that way.  Anyways I still have like 4 more applications out there and am going for an interview in Weatherford.  I did promise Amy that I would not apply for anymore unless God came and sat them on my lap himself.  However the problem is that I dont have a teaching job either yet so just be praying for me.  If you actually made it this far please pray and if you would like leave a positive note because I could use it.
